Online Banking/Bill Pay Authorization and Agreement

To signup for American Bank’s Online Banking, please fill in the information below and select the services you wish to use, print the form, sign it, and mail it to us, or drop it off at any American Bank location.

In this Agreement, “I, me and my” refer to the person or persons signing this Agreement. “Account” refers to my checking account, which is listed below and from which my bills will be paid.

1. If I'm selecting Bill Payment I hereby authorize American Bank or its authorized agent to make payments to creditors for me, as I may authorize by personal computer from time to time and also authorize American Bank to post such payments to my account.
   
   
2. If I'm selecting Bill Payment I understand that American Bank or its authorized agent will use reasonable efforts to ensure payments reach creditors on time but cannot guarantee the time a payment will be posted by a creditor. American Bank or its authorized agent will use reasonable effort in ensuring creditors reverse any service fee or late charge related to payment processing error. I also understand that American Bank or its authorized agent will not be responsible for any loss or penalty I may incur due to lack of sufficient funds or other conditions that may prevent the withdrawal of funds for my account.
   
   
3. If I'm selecting Bill Payment I understand there is no monthly fee for this service; however, American Bank will deduct $0.30 per bill after the first ten transactions. American Bank may not change the rates without at least 30 days prior notice.
   
   
4. I hereby agree to review and approve of all user terms and conditions relative to authorized use and confidential requirements of this product.

Online Banking Only - View today’s current balance and transaction history, plus transfer funds between American Bank accounts and make loan payments.
(Bill Pay can be added at a later date if you prefer)

Online Banking with Bill Pay - provides all online banking services as above plus allows you to pay bills online. Pay an individual or company. May be subject to a fee.

5. If I have not used Bill Pay for 90 days, I authorize American Bank to close my Bill Pay account.
