Online Banking Enrollment

Welcome to Online Banking!

We have made signing up easy. If you already have a checking or savings account with us, have your last bank statement handy so you can answer some questions regarding your accounts with us. Your User ID and password will be mailed to you within 2 business days.

Before you begin, you will be asked to review and acknowledge information which will be presented to you in the following order:

• System Requirements/Security
• American Bank's Online Banking Agreement and Disclosure

Important Information for New Users

• Once the system is able to confirm the information you provided, we’ll mail a User ID and Password within 2 business days, which you’ll use to log onto the Online Banking system.
  
• The first screen you will be taken to will display a summary of accounts for which we have been able to confirm that you are a primary or joint account user.
  
• During your first online session, you will see account balances and account activity. During any given session, you could see between 7 and 45 days of transactions for your accounts.
  
• Automatic log-ons (where the computer automatically remembers your identification and password) increases the risk of unauthorized users gaining access to your accounts. We recommend against the use of the pre-authorized function for your user identification and password.
  
• If you receive an error message when attempting to enroll online, please contact Client services at 608-744-2125 or email us.

System Requirements/Security

We are committed to providing our customers with the highest level of security available. In order to ensure that your information is protected, we have employed the following:

• Encryption / Browser
  
• American Bank Online Banking requires a browser capable of high-security 128-bit encryption (SSL). Without this level of security, access will be denied.
  
• We support the most recent versions of Netscape and MS Internet Explorer browsers. In addition to 128-bit encryption, your browser must also have enabled JavaScript support and Cookies in order to view pages correctly.
